Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

IronCode SSH ("the App") is a mobile SSH client developed by KSD-CO ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. How the App Works

The App establishes SSH connections directly between your device and your target servers. We do not proxy, monitor, or store SSH session data on our servers.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required for functionality:

• SSH Connection Data: Hostnames, IP addresses, ports, usernames, and authentication credentials (passwords or SSH keys) entered by you. This data is stored locally on your device only using encrypted storage.
• App Preferences: Settings and preferences stored locally on your device.
• Crash Reports: If the App crashes, anonymized crash data (device type, iOS version, stack trace) may be collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us diagnose and fix issues. This data does not include SSH credentials or session content.
• Network Data: Your device transmits IP address information as part of standard internet communication when establishing SSH connections.

4. Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Face ID / Biometrics: Used solely to protect access to the App on your device. Biometric data is processed entirely by iOS and never leaves your device or is accessed by us.
• Camera: Used only to scan QR codes for importing SSH connection configurations. No images are stored or transmitted.
• Photo Library: Used only to allow you to import SSH key files or configuration files from your device. Files are read locally and not uploaded to any server.
• Local Network: Required to connect to SSH servers on your local network (e.g., a server on your home or office Wi-Fi).

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects anonymized crash reports to help us improve App stability. Data collected includes device model, iOS version, and crash stack traces. No personal information or SSH data is included. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

The App does not use advertising networks or behavioral tracking services.

6. Data Storage & Security

• All sensitive data (including credentials) is stored locally using encrypted storage.
• SSH connections use industry-standard encryption protocols.
• We do not transmit, store, or process your SSH credentials on our servers.
• No backend servers are used for handling your SSH data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or trade your personal data. Anonymized crash reports may be shared with Firebase Crashlytics as described in Section 5. All other data remains on your device.

8. Your Rights

• You can delete all stored connection data at any time from within the App.
• You can uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
• You can disable crash reporting by contacting us at the email below.
• If you have questions about your data, you may contact us.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
